We align with multiple areas of the Victorian Curriculum
The Box Ed program for years 7/9 is designed to help students develop key skills and knowledge related to health and physical education. Through the principles of boxing, we encourage students to stay healthy, safe, and active.
We teach them effective communication and interaction skills that contribute to their overall health and wellbeing. Students also learn how to contribute to active communities, develop their understanding of movement, and learn through movement. Our program focuses on building resilience and mental toughness, helping students overcome challenges and adapt to new situations.
We aim to empower students to be confident, respectful, and responsible individuals who can achieve their goals both in and out of the boxing ring.
Box Ed Australia’s year 7/9 program takes Health and Physical Education to the next level, with a focus on empowering students to take control of their health and physical fitness.
Through non-contact boxing, students learn how to become physically fit and agile. The program emphasises the importance of contributing to healthy and active communities, and students are exposed to a range of movement-based activities that foster teamwork and leadership.
Understanding movement is a core component of the program, as students learn how to move their bodies with precision and control, and how to harness the power of movement to enhance cognitive development, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. The Box Ed Australia year 7/9 program is the perfect way to build a foundation for a healthy, active and successful life.
